Job Description

Responsible for performing credit assessment tasks as part of the credit management function to manage the overall risk exposure of the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative assessment of credit applications received and manage the end-of-the-end credit assessment process

  • Ensure adherence to and strict compliance with the credit SOP

  • Maintain close follow-up with the sales team on document submission and ensure compliance with the credit SOP

  • Consistently ensure that credit applications received are processed within the agreed turnaround time (TAT) of 5 working days

  • Closely monitor and follow up on collateral expiry and ensure compliance with the agreed format

  • Drive consistent process improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency

  • Carry out any other duties/tasks required by the superior from time to time

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in credit analysis or credit management

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis

  • Strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Target-driven and has a positive attitude

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
